"I remember what it's like to sit with a map of neighborhoods you've never lived in and try to guess which one is actually going to feel like home."
Why Andrew?
In 2018, Andrew made the move from the Bay Area to Orange County. He didn't have a local agent who'd made the same trip, and he learned most of it the hard way: figuring out which areas actually matched the pace and feel he was used to, recalibrating what a housing budget bought down here versus up there, and adjusting to a completely different rhythm of commuting and daily life.
That experience is a big part of why he does this work the way he does it now. When a client tells him they're nervous about the unknowns of a move, he's not guessing at what that feels like. He's been the person staring at that same map. Andrew has been licensed as a REALTOR® since December 2017 and works full-time with Compass, focused on Orange County.
What makes his approach different?
Most agents start the conversation with listings. Andrew starts with the actual questions underneath a move: which city fits your budget and lifestyle, what your commute realistically looks like from a given area, and how to coordinate a sale somewhere else with a purchase here so you're not managing two disconnected transactions at once.
He also maintains an active referral network of trusted agents across Northern California and nationwide, so if you're selling outside Orange County, that side of the move gets handled by someone vetted, with Andrew coordinating the timing rather than leaving you to manage two agents who've never spoken. Outside of real estate, Andrew stays closely tied to the Orange County community as the Past President of the Rotary Club of Huntington Beach, Past Chair of the Orange County REALTORS Young Professionals Network, current Chair of the C.A.R. YPN Advisory Board, and active with the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance in Orange County and Long Beach. That involvement is a lot of how he actually hears what's happening in this market before it shows up in the data.
What does working with him actually look like?
It starts with a real conversation about your budget, your priorities, and your timeline, not a scripted pitch. From there, Andrew narrows down the Orange County areas that actually fit, walks you through what different price points buy in each one, and if you're relocating from elsewhere, coordinates that side of the move through his referral network. Whether you reach out through the buyer questionnaire, the home value form, or just a direct message, you're talking to Andrew personally, not getting routed to a team.
